Augusta & Co is pleased to announce the sale of the 44MW Koegorspolder wind farm in the Netherlands to the Allianz Renewable Energy Fund II managed by Allianz Global Investors on behalf of the sellers, DIF Renewable Energy and Ampere Equity funds.
The project was 10 years old at the point of sale and no longer receiving any subsidy and so the transaction represented Augusta & Co’s first sale of a fully merchant wind farm, although various fixed price PPA options for the buyer were also structured for the buyer.
A&Co acted as exclusive financial advisor to DIF and Ampere in the transaction.
