Augusta & Co welcomes Shyam Sankar, Johnathan James, and Anmol Gauba to the company.
Shyam, Managing Director at Augusta & Co, brings over 18 years of project and structured finance experience from his roles at GE Energy Financial Services, Barclays Investment Bank, and WestLB. In Shyam’s most recent role at GE, he was responsible for raising third party equity and debt for GE’s wind projects across Europe and for originating new business in the Nordics.
Johnathan joins Augusta & Co as a Director with a focus on business development. He has a mixture of experience in strategy, energy trading, project origination, and transaction management. Prior to joining Augusta & Co, Johnathan was responsible for BayWa r.e.’s expansion into new markets and headed their offshore wind transactions and tenders.
Anmol recently completed an MBA at IESE Business School and joins Augusta & Co as an Associate Director. Anmol brings a breadth of experience from across the power and renewables industry, most recently in reserve power. At Riverstone Holdings, Anmol worked on the inception, financing, growth, and sale of the portfolio companies Forsa Energy and Velocita. Prior to this, Anmol worked in the Infrastructure, Power & Renewables team at Macquarie Capital in London.
