Clean Energy Generation
We have advised on clean energy transaction since 2002, across sub-sectors such as onshore, offshore, solar, and hydropower. Augusta has advised on more onshore wind transactions than any other adviser and are consistently at the top of rankings for solar PV.
With detailed knowledge of the regulatory regimes as well as the local dynamics of individual markets, we have successfully closed equity investments and portfolio sales across Europe. Whether a transaction involves a capital raising for development pipeline or the sale of a mature operating portfolio, the key strength which an adviser brings to a client is the ability to demonstrate and communicate stable, long term, equity value and defend that value through the due diligence process and detailed and complex negotiations with multiple buyers.
Energy Storage and Management Systems
We have closed several transactions in the energy storage sector, including lithium-ion battery storage systems and pumped hydro storage.
The intermittent nature of renewable energy has positioned energy storage as a crucial solution to increased power price volatility and grid imbalances. BESS projects are by nature more merchant than traditional renewable generation, requiring more unique solutions for financing.

P2X
Power-to-X is a rapidly expanding sector, aiming to decarbonise various industrial sectors. Augusta has bankers dedicated to our P2X clients, and have advised on recent transactions within the green hydrogen and SAF space.
Datacentres
A rise in artificial intelligence is driving regional demand-centres across Europe. We are working closely with large tech conglomerates in the roll-out of these datacentres and the sourcing of their clean power.
Supply Chain
Augusta provides M&A and capital-raising advice to corporate clients in the supply chain, and we have successfully completed strategically important transactions in key segments of the industry including wind turbines, blades, foundations and offshore installation vessels.
